2.98ct Congo Tourmaline Rough

A deep blue tourmaline, completely untreated. Looks to be eye-clean with some surface features to grind off during pre-form. This will cut a nice blue classic step cut tourmaline. The c-axis is a bit dark so keeping the c-axis facets steep above 60 degrees will help to keep some of the darkness out.
